How The Lift Was Built is an exhibition which tells the story of how the four-storey mobile venue and hub of the Lift Festival was built.

Digital designer and Lift International Associate Roma Patel (UK) has collaborated with students from Nottingham Trent University to bring to life the process of creating a new meeting space: from the beginning through to building the structure.
