This multimedia dance-theatre event offers a rare glimpse into the real experience of living in China today. Lift International Associate Wen Hui’s Living Dance Studio is China’s premiere independent dance company, known for documenting intimate everyday experiences of ordinary people.

Based on interviews and improvisation, Report on the Body depicts a woman’s body as a mirror of society in a sensual, provocative piece. Working with video artists Cao Fei and Jiang Zhi, Wen Hui creatively interrogates China’s dreams of fashion, money, sex and freedom.
