The Absurdity of the World Picture Offered Us

Platform

For over 20 years, Platform’s work has brought together activists, artists and educators to create innovative projects driven by the need for social and environmental justice. Since 1996 they have focused on the impact of the transnational corporation on our minds, bodies, society and environment.

In this event, Platform draws on recent works Unravelling the Carbon Web, The Desk Killer and Remember Saro-Wiwa, and uses film, poetry, images and the spoken word, to create a 'space of exchange' where critical issues can be explored. The event asks – How can we move beyond the illusion of 'Corporate Social Responsibility'? Does the vastness of climate change paralyse human response?
